HONDA 1200 VTR

Un gros bicylindre HONDA pour le Superbike ...en référence, une moto presque oubliée: la VTR (RC 51) .La tentation était trop forte vu le palmarès de la machine et les célèbres pilotes qui ont gagné à son guidon: Joe Dunlop au TT,Colin Edward en SBK et au 8h de Suzuka avec un certain coéquipier Valentino Rossi... Au 24h du mans de 2000 où j'ai vu gagner la SP1 numérotée 111 sur l'ancien tracé du Bugatti ( pour l'anecdote, c'était magnifique!! :) .

Je me suis directement inspiré du SBK et de l'endurance. Des disciplines où Honda savait gagner grâce à des modèles atypique comme les RC30 et RC45. J'ai garder  le monobras oscillant et les phares ronds en référence. La prise d'air centrale est l'un des seuls éléments stylistiques repris du VTR RC51, une des première moto à l'utilisé, très reconnaissable, elle procure un gain de performance. Le regard est souligné par un élément lumineux faisant office de feu de position et de clignotant pour la partie civile. Le demi carénage laisse respirer le moteur et ses coudes d'échappements, il peut s'apparenter au VTR Firestorm.  les proportions et la technique sont calquées sur une concurrente La DUCATI Panigale. Pièce maitresse, le moteur fait partie du châssis, il est surmonté d'une poutre en Aluminium servant également de boite à air. Elle relie la colone de direction et les culasses jusqu'à l'assise.

A big-twin Honda Superbike ... for reference, a motorcycle almost forgotten: the VTR (RC 51). The temptation was too great given the track record of the machine and the famous drivers who have won on this: Joe Dunlop TT, Colin Edward in SBK and at the 8 hours of Suzuka with Valentino Rossi ... I was directly inspired by the SBK and endurance. Disciplines where Honda knew win with atypical models RC30 and RC45. I keep the swing arm and round headlights reference. The central air intake is one of the few styling cues taken from VTR RC51, it was one of the first motorcycle to use, very recognizable, it provides a performance gain. The front look is lighted by a light line  element, serving as a position light and flashing for the plaintiff. The half fairing breathable the engine and his exhaust manifold, it may be similar to VTR Firestorm. the proportions and technique are modeled on his competitor's Ducati Panigale. Centerpiece, the engine is part of the chassis, it is topped with an aluminum beams also serving for air box. It connects the steering column and heads up the seat.
